ROBIN L. BARLOW, CIRMS is Senior Vice President at PeopleFirst Property & Casualty and former Senior Vice President and Director for NFP P&C, and President of PeopleFirst, Property & Casualty Barlow Insurance. In her role as Senior Vice President at PeopleFirst P&C, she specializes in sales, consulting and renewal of insurance products and services for condominium, homeowners’ associations, active adult resort communities and apartments in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and North and South Carolina. She has been actively engaged in insurance sales and consultation since 1997.
Prior to joining PeopleFirst, Property & Casualty, Robin worked as a Vice President with Brown & Brown Insurance. She was the administrator to the Managers Insurance Council where she coordinated specialty insurance services to their clients including a Risk Management Seminar for over 100 managers in Central New Jersey. She managed a portfolio of over 400 Associations and $15 million in insurance premium. In March of 2003 Robin was one of the first (Pin#4) in the country to receive the Community Insurance and Risk Management Specialist (CIRMS) Designation.
Locally Robin is involved in speaking engagements on Association Insurance and Risk management, written articles for various publications and has served on her local Credit Union Advisory Board and was the current Treasurer of her local PTA.
Robin is a graduate of Rutgers University. Robin and her husband Rob have three children, Jena, Justin and Alana as well as grandchildren, Brody & Brynlee.
ROBERT E. BARLOW, Jr. PCAM, CIRMS is Executive Vice President of PeopleFirst, Property & Casualty and was formerly the Managing Director of NFP, Property & Casualty of NJ. Rob is currently responsible for all operations of the Easton Branch office, which specializes in condominium and homeowner’s association insurance.
Prior to working for PeopleFirst, Rob and his wife Robin formed PeopleFirst, Property & Casualty Barlow Insurance which specialized in community association insurance. Rob was also the Executive Vice President of Brown & Brown Insurance where he oversaw the operations of their Western New Jersey Division. Rob is also the Past President of the South Carolina CAI Chapter and a former member of the SC and NJ Legislative Action Committees and Community Association Political Action Committee (CA-PAC). Rob has also been Treasurer of his local United Way & Community College Foundation and was the former Chairman and current Trustee on St Luke’s Hospital, Warren Campus in NJ.
Rob is a graduate of Eastern University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Business Administration, and a minor in Finance. Rob and his wife Robin have three children, Jena, Justin and Alana, as well as two grandchildren, Brody & Brynlee.
JESSICA DUE, CISR, CLCS Vice President Commercial Lines at PeopleFirst and former Assistant Vice President of Commercial Lines at NFP. She is responsible for all of the Workflow, Hiring and Administrative Oversight for the entire Staff.
Jessica began her career in 1996 as a Customer Service Rep for Commercial Lines. She moved to the Community Association Division in 1998 and has maintained that position with Robin Barlow since that time. Jessica has worked for both Local and National Insurance Brokers and is currently responsible for all aspects of Renewal Business Marketing and Customer Service.
DAWN M. BECKER-DURNIN, CSRM, CIRMS Vice President of PeopleFirst Property & Casualty Services. Dawn Becker-Durnin is a multi-state licensed insurance agent for Property & Casualty, Personal Lines and Life & Health at PeopleFirst Property & Casualty. Dawn’s niche specialty and focus is common interest community insurance, but she also consults and provides insurance programs for real estate and construction companies, with an emphasis on contractual risk transfer and risk management. Prior to joining PeopleFirst in 2020, Dawn was employed by Brown & Brown Insurance as Vice President and more recently at NFP, Property & Casualty as Vice President. In the late 90’s/early 2000’s Dawn worked for Kushner Companies in New Jersey as their Insurance Coordinator.
In early 2014, Dawn obtained the prestigious designation of Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM); this designation is for personnel responsible for the risk management function involving schools.
In June 2020, Dawn earned the prestigious designation of Community Insurance and Risk Management Specialist (CIRMS), Pin #151. CIRMS designees are individuals who have demonstrated the knowledge and skills to provide quality professional service to Condominiums, Cooperatives and Homeowner Associations.
Dawn is a current and active member of several chapters of Community Associations Institute (CAI) including, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. CAI is a national, nonprofit organization offering resources and education to Condominium and Homeowners Associations. Dawn was a panel member for the 2019 CAI South Carolina Blue Ribbon Committee and has been a guest speaker for many CAI chapters on various insurance related topics. Dawn was the proud recipient of the 2018 and 2019 CAI South Carolina Member of the Year and the 2019 CAI South Carolina Chapter Executive Director Award. Last year, Dawn was elected to CAI National’s Business Partners Council, for a two-year term, starting January 1, 2021, and is also a member of the CAI National Short Term Rental Task Force.
In Dawn’s personal life, she is a New Jersey State Certified Firefighter (certified since 1995) and a former member of Washington Valley Volunteer Fire Company in Warren, NJ, where she served as an interior fire fighter, Secretary from 2005 to 2007, and President from 2008 to 2009. Dawn served as First Lieutenant of the Liberty Corner First Aid Squad in Liberty Corner, NJ from 1998 to 2001. Dawn was a member of Basking Ridge Fire & Rescue as interior firefighter and EMT from 1993 to 2002. Dawn is a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor – professional and community level – for the American Red Cross. Since 2009, she has served as Director on the Board of non-profit legislative action group, Safe Children Incorporated. Dawn attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey for nursing and now resides in Waxhaw, North Carolina with her husband, Steven, of eleven years, and two young boys; Sidney, age ten and Ashton, age five.
